Mommy what do i do with This?
WOW, how time flies by! I cant believe one year ago we were just having kayden and worrying about what was going to happen. Im so proud of my little man, he is so strong and fought threw and Blew everyones expectations away! Kayden is one now and is doing so great! Hes trying to eat everything in sight, including non food objects such as, bugs(ew....), straws, cooking utensils, anything i miss sweeping the floor...etc...lol! Hes also walking completley on his own!! Which he really loves because he can get his sissy(haylee who is almost two months) really fast now while mommy turns her back for one minute! He also loves grilled cheese, cereal, beef stew, and mac n cheese!
Medically kayden is only on prevacid for his reflux still, were hoping he will be off of that in half a year. His last check up in Cincinnati at childrens went really well! They were very pleased with the ECHO showing no hypertension again, and his chest xray was the best he had ever had! The only thing they were concerned about was his weight, he currently around 17lbs 4oz, which is only like the 4th percentile for his age, so cardiology wants us to weight 6 months then, if he hasnt gained the weight they would like him to be at, they want to do a cardiac catherization just to make sure nothing else is going on. So mommy talked with the high risk clinic in cincy and they want me to try to fatten him up whatever it takes, so ive been having a great time trying to find high calorie meals that are halfway good for you at least...lol! So any suggestions would be great~
Im not sure i let everyone know yet but we had our daughter Haylee Nicole Hollis on September the 12, 2009 shes almost 2 months now! Time flies by so fast....Kayden loves his sissy but im not to sure she loves him so much!! Seems how hes always trying to attack her with pulling on her nose...his way of playing. But anyways Haylee is doing great, it was such a different in a great way situation having a healthy baby that i could hold right away! Thats defiantley a great experience! Shes 9 lbs, 6oz already! I told her brother shes going to outgrow him...lol!

Well thats about all for now im going to go try to add some more pictures!

So i finally am going to keep up with this blog, so to those of you who dont know already My name is Nikki and my boyfriend and I had our son Kayden on October 27th 2008 right around Carters birth day (carter a boy i follow who you all prbly know) Kayden had CDH also, and spent 54 days in the Nicu at Cincinnati Childrens hospital. He went home on a NG tube but after 2 weeks home we got lucky and he wanted to eat better than ever!!! So we dont really had any feeding promblems with kayden which we are VERY Greatful for! He is now 6 and 1/2 months old! I am going to try to keep this updated so see you next time...im going to try to post the new pictures we got done today! Love Nikki, Josh, and Kayden

So to all of you who dont know kayden, he had a page on carepages.com but we have decided to move here since i am always on blogger following everyone else. Its just easier. But anyways Kayden is now alittle over 5 and a half monthes old is doing great. We go back to Cincinnati Childrens this thursday for a checkup to make sure his hypertension is still gone and to just see how is overall health is. I will be sure to post updates when new things are happening, and to those of you who dont know kayden is going to be a big brother to a little sister this september! He doesnt quite understand yet, but im sure he will love her very much....someone new to play with!
